Can't Shake the Itch

It started as a tickle on my left big toe

Thought it was nothin', just let it go

But then it spread, oh mercy me

My poor ol' foot ain't feelin' free

Can’t shake the itch, it’s stickin’ around

(Tinea’s got me, and it’s draggin’ me down)

Cream after cream, but it still comes back

(Like a fungus ninja, launchin' an attack!)

I wash, I scrub, I pray and I plead

But it’s clingin’ on like a stubborn weed!

Tried vinegar soak, and tea tree too

Read a blog that said to use old shampoo

Burns like fire, smells like glue

But still that itch comes peekin’ through

Ohhh, it’s not romantic, not divine

It lives between my toes like it pays no fine

I’ve tried to dance, but all I do is hop

When the tinea’s flarin’, I just can’t stop!

Can’t shake the itch, it’s back again

(Sneakin’ through socks like a mischievous friend)

Doctor gave pills and a powder puff

(Said “keep it dry,” but it’s still tough stuff!)

I moan, I groan, I just want relief

From this tenacious toe-bound thief!
