Soft shapes drift beneath the tide
A whisper hums where stars collide
The air folds back, becomes a seam
Between the waking and the dream
A staircase turns, but has no end
Each step forgets where it began
Eyes like lanterns, lost in mist
Touch dissolves the things it kissed
And time moves sideways in my head
Where every word’s already said
The walls are breathing, slow and kind
I leave my shadow far behind
Rain falls upward through the glass
Reflections learn the art of mass
A single note begins to bloom
Then folds itself into the gloom
Silver birds on silent strings
Unravel skies, undo their wings
Dreams speak softly, none reply
The truth hums low beneath the sky
The current turns, I let it spin
A voice hums softly from within
Mirrors fade, the light grows thin
And I dissolve where I begin
